Thornwood is conveniently located in the heart of the energy corridor with a good commute both east and west on the I-10. It is quietly nestled on both the north and south side of Memorial boasting two pools and a club house for residents.
It is served by two school districts, Spring Branch and Katy ISD’s. The Thornwood subdivision is comprised of four sections with a total of 389 homes. Sections I & IV are on the north side of Memorial in the Spring Branch ISD and Sections II & III on the south are part of the Katy ISD. Thornwood was incorporated in September 23, 1966. Sections I, 2 & 3 were completed in 1969 with Section 4 having it’s completion in 1972.
